Lot Description
A late nineteenth century Elkington & Co electroplated three piece tea service designed by Christopher Dresser, of skep form with reeded banding, the teapot with ivory knop and insulators. Model number 16676 (1A), registration number 22864 and the Elkington & Co silver plate mark for 1885 to the sugar and milk jug and 1893 to the teapot.

In good structural overall condition. General scratches and marks. Significant tarnishing present. Some heavier isolated scratches. Shallow dent to the sugar bowl. Hairlines visible to the ivory. Gilding bright to the interiors of the milk and sugar. Model, registration and Elkington & Co marks all clear and legible.
