Lot Description
A pair of base metal candlesticks, each modelled with a detachable nozzle above a knopped column decorated with a coiled snake and lizard, and raised above a spreading circular base with three scrolled feet, the whole with further floral and foliate decoration in relief. Height measures 8 1/4 inches (21 cm).

Condition Report
Both candlesticks appear in fairly good overall condition. They display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Slight loss of surface detail to some of the raised decoration. They appear to have been made in several sections and joined/screwed together around a central fixing pin. There is a repair to the wooden section of the underside of one of the candlesticks.
