Lot Description
An Eastern white metal circular box and cover, ornately decorated with continuous bands of floral, foliate and scroll motifs with further similar decoration to the underside, the removable cover with central relief panel depicting a hunting scene of foxes, deer and other animals in a woodland landscape. Indistinct struck mark to the underside. Diameter measures 4 1/8 inches (10.5 cm), weight 8.8 ozt (276.3 grams).

Condition Report
The overall condition appears fairly good, displaying general light surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. Some heavier scratches and contact marks visible to the underside and a couple of minor knocks to rims. The interior was possibly once gilded, however this is now faded in places. There is a partly obscured indistinct mark to the underside.
