A late nineteenth century German bell, of cylindrical form, raised on a scalloped foot rim, to the domed bell cover and button, embossed with putto and cherubs in various poses including trying to coerce a goat and floral scrolling accents. German post 1886 marks. (A.F.). Height 3 7/8 inches (9.8 cm).

Condition Report
Fair overall condition with surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnish commensurate with age and use. The base metal bell component is in need of attention, currently not functioning. Lid does not sit flush. Rubbing with loss of definition to the detail.
