Lot Description
A late eighteenth century Swedish silver vase, of tapered form with an engraved monogrammed panel surmounting two sets of initials, also initialled to the reverse, with applied shaped lower border, above a circular frill designed base. Stamped to the underside by Loretz Lindegren with the Swedish Control Stamp, the city mark for Boras and the date letter for 1796. Height 7 3/8 inches (21.25 cm), weight 13.95 ozt (395.6 grams).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with age and use. There are significant dents to the base along with evidence of hairline cracks and repair. There is a loos of detail to both the borders and main decorative panel. The rim is slightly mishapen and there are scratches evident right across the body. The hallmarks appear rubbed but legible. The maker's mark partly worn.
