A turn of the century pair of German glass claret jugs, the bulbous bodies with wrythen fluting and floral decoration to the mounted collars with hinged domed lids and scrolling handles. Collars with German hallmarks for Breidenstein & Renaud, Frankfurt, Reichsmark alongside 800, also struck W. Stuttgen. Height measuring 10 inches (25.5 cm).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Glass would benefit from a clean. Areas of heavy tarnishing and remnants of polish. Some rubbing of the detail on the decoration to the collar and lid. German hallmarks are clear and legible.
