A turn of the century German Hanau oval basket, the base embossed with a lively figurative scene and a scroll surround to the raised edge with alternate swags and fruiting motifs. Hanau marks for Georg Roth & Co. Length measuring 14 inches (35.5 cm), weight 17.1 ozt (532 grams).
