A German box, the oval body with an embossed border of putto to the hinged lid with scene of seven putto amidst foliage opening to reveal a gilt interior with mirror polish finish to the base interior. German hallmarks to the underside of the Reichsmark and the standard mark of 800. Length measuring 7 1/4 inches (18.5 cm), weight 15.2 ozt (473 grams).
