Lot Description

A duck form glass claret jug with mounts stamped 950 within a shield shape punch, the main fluted glass body of orange colour with applied wings forming the clear glass handles. Maximum height measures 9 inches (23 cm).

The claret jug displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.  Some rim nicks and chips are visible around the top of the glass neck, just below the mount.  Some minor dints and bumps to mounts.  The pin in the hinge is loose.  The shield mark is located at the top of the neck, just below the hinged lid.
