Lot Description

An American silver porringer of plain circular form with openwork handle, stamped to the underside Paul Revere, reproduction, international sterling K96, bowl diameter measuring 4 1/2 inches (11.5 cm). Together with a Dutch oval photograph frame mount with ribbon and reed detailing, stamped with the Dutch standard sword mark. Gross weight 7.74 ozt (219.5 grams). (2).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with age and use. The porringer displays numerous larger dents to the main body and base, with smaller nicks around the rim. There are small patches of grazing and discolouration to the bowl.  The frame mount is heavily tarnished and discoloured in places, the shape is distorted, mount only present, it is missing the back and glass. The marks to the bowl are worn, Dutch marks are quite indistinct.
