An American Chapel Bells part canteen comprising four dinner knives, six forks, two table spoons, eight cake forks and eight dessert spoons, all with reeded stems leading to budding flower terminals. Stamped 'Alvin Sterling Patent 1939'. Gross weight not including the knives 33.69 ozt (955.1 grams). (28).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with age and use. There is some loss to the detailing on the terminals, particularly to the knives, the handles of which show nicks and small dents.
