A George III Old English pattern silver basting spoon with engraved monogrammed terminal. Hallmarked Edward Farrell, London 1817. Length 12 inches (30.5 cm), weight 3.74 ozt (106 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with age and use. The hallmarks are clear and legible. There are some deeper scratches and pitting to the bowl and the rim appears worn. Loss of definition to the heel.
