Lot Description

A modern set of twelve dinner knives, the silver tapered handles with trailing floral scrolls, hallmarked C J Vander Ltd, Sheffield 2007. Together with a set of ten Asian dinner knives, the tapered handles decorated in high relief with a stylised deity to one side and a vacant cartouche to the other, stamped 'Sterling'. Each with steel blades. (2).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with age and use. The CJ Vander set is in good overall condition. The hallmarks are clear and legible. There is heavier tarnishing and various small marks and dents to the Asian set. Some marks are heavily rubbed, others less so.
