An Edwardian silver comport, the shallow dish with scroll pierced gallery and reeded rim to the circular foot with conforming scroll piercing. Hallmarked William Aitken, Birmingham 1907. Height measuring 4 3/4 inches (12 cm), weight 10.4 ozt (325 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.

Some heavier scratches to the centre of the dish. The hallmarks are clear and legible. maker's mark partly worn.
