A George III silver meat skewer of plain tapered form, crested and with loop handle. Hallmarked London 1805, tentatively attributed to William Seaman. Length measuring 14 1/4 inches (36 cm), weight 3.4 ozt (108 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some deeper scratches. The hallmarks are quite worn particularly the leopard's head.
