A Sampson Mordan ruby glass double-ended scent bottle, with removable screw on lid to one end with engraved date and hinged lid to the other with personal initials, with further central hinged mount. Indistinct maker's mark to the interior of the hinged lid. Maximum length measures 5 1/8 inches (13 cm).

Condition Report
The bottle displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some small surface dints and bumps to the metal mounts, especially the rounded sections of the lids. Also some fading of the colour. Hinges and clasp in working order. Some small edge nicks to the glass and a few deeper scratches. The mark inside the hinged lid is very indistinct.
