Lot Description
A Sampson Mordan silver mounted scent bottle and vinaigrette combination, the rectangular clear glass body with canted corners and sloped shoulders, vinaigrette to the base with personal engraving to the hinged cover and opening to reveal a foliate pierced and gilded grille, plain hinged cap to the top enclosing a glass stopper. Hallmarked Sampson Mordan & Co., London 1878. Maximum height measures 3 3/4 inches (9.5 cm).

Condition Report
The overall condition of the item appears fairly good. There are some general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. A few minor surface nicks/dints. Hinges and clasp are in working order. Hallmarked in various places, there is some rubbing and distortion but they are mainly legible. A few minor nicks to the glass.
