Condition Report
The item displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some minor surface dints and nicks are visible to some areas. Some seam lines are also visible. Hinges are in working order. Evidence of possible gilding to interior sections but this is now worn. The hinged grille does open and close but it is quite a tight fit. There appear to be no markings on suspension chain or loops. Hallmarked in various places, most are legible but there is rubbing and partial distortion to some. The interior of the first hinged lid also has the impressed maker's mark.
