Lot Description

A George III cruet stand, of lobed form, raised on three textured shell feet, the plain base with three columns supporting the circular bottle mounts, to the splayed handle with shell and scrolling acanthus leaf grip, together with three associated glass bottles. Hallmarked W.E., London 1819. Height 7 inches (18.7 cm). Weight excluding bottles 8.83 ozt (274.85 grams).

Good overall condition with scratches, very small dents and tarnish in keeping with general wear. Area of discolouration to base. Maker's mark slightly worn to handle, clear elsewhere. Slight, shallow dents to where the bottle bases hit the silver. Glass bottles generally good condition. Small nicks rococo-style scroll lip. Stoppers likely replacements.
