An Edwardian Sampson Mordan pair of silver and enamel menu holders, the circular sprung form enamelled with a scene of a fox and hare on circular bases, in fitted case. Hallmarked Sampson Mordan & Co., Chester 1904, registered number 402227. Height measuring 3.5 cm, gross weight 95 grams.

In excellent overall condition. Light general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. A small nick to the silver edge on one. The hallmarks are clear and legible. maker's mark a little worn.
