Lot Description

A late Victorian silver sweetmeat dish, raised on a pierced floral quatrefoil foot ring, the scalloped oval dish, with scrolling bow design, to the stylised floral lattice sides and floral scrolling rim. Hallmarked Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co, London 1895. Length 5 3/4 inches (14.5 cm). Weight 4.01 ozt (125 grams).

Good overall condition with scratches, very small dents and tarnish in keeping with age and use. Slight bends to the feet, the dish rocks very slightly on a flat surface. Hallmarks clear, retailers stamp for Goldsmiths & silversmiths Company, 112 Regent st. Slight green discolouration at root ring. Varied tarnish.
