Lot Description
A late Victorian silver double sovereign holder of plain oval form, together with a late Victorian curved calling card holder, both monogrammed. Sovereign holder hallmarked William Neale & Son, Birmingham 1892. Calling card case hallmarked Henry Matthews, Birmingham 1896. Lengths 3 1/8 and 2 1/4 inches (8 and 5.7 cm). Weight 2.52 ozt (78.6 grams).

Good to fair overall condition with scratches, small dents and tarnish in keeping with age and use. Lengths do not include loop surmounts. Small dents, nicks to the edge of the card case. More noticeable dents to sovereign holder.
