An early twentieth century silver novelty swan open salt, realistically modelled as a swimming swan, with blue glass liner. Hallmarked Adie & Lovekin Ltd, Birmingham 1912. Length 2 3/4 inches (7 cm). Gross weight 0.97 ozt (30.4 grams).

Condition Report
Good overall condition with scratches, small dents and tarnish in keeping with age and use. Minor tears to the tail at the join and to where the head meets the body. Minor, shallow dents to the head. The glass liner appears ill-fitting, possibly replacement, possibly ground down. The liner has a significant clip, glued back in place and other minor chips.
