Lot 641

Lot Description

A white metal miniature or toy chair, height measuring 5 cm. Together with a 1930's silver egg cup with personal name engraving, hallmarked Mappin & Webb, Birmingham 1936, height measuring 6 cm. (2).

Postage: Auction Default

Weight: No

Total lot weight: No

Both items display general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use.  Both are heavily tarnished and would benefit from a clean and polish.  The chair has been knocked as the seat is not level and one of the front legs is raised and leaning in slightly, so that it wobbles a little when standing.  One of the back legs is also bent outwards slightly.  Some general wear to the wavy rim of the egg cup.  Slight rubbing to maker's mark, main hallmarks are clear and legible.
