A nineteenth century Russian silver scoop, with short plain stem leading to a large gilded bowl, with foliate motifs and Greek key style border to the underside, struck with the city mark for Moscow, the Assay Master's mark is partly distorted but date 1877 is visible, length measuring 10.5 cm. Together with a miniature notebook, struck 800 alongside a crown and crescent mark and two further marks. Gross weighable metal 55 grams. (2).

Condition Report
Both the items display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Numerous deeper scratches are visible to the bowl and there is wear to the gilding. Assay mark is partly distorted. General loss of surface detail to the notebook holder and wear around edges. The removable pen/pencil holder is quite dented and squashed.
