A late Victorian silver combination paper knife and pencil, with wrythen moulded decoration to the shaped handle and removable finial forming the small pencil, the plain blade hallmarked Sampson Mordan & Co., London 1896. Length measures 8 1/4 inches (21 cm).

Condition Report
The knife displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some deeper scratches and nicks are visible and some heavier areas of tarnishing. More wear around the edge and tip of the blade. The finial to the handle is removable and forms the small pencil. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
