A modern silver owl bookmark, stamped with London import mark for 1988, and the sponsor's mark 'D.P.'. Together with a selection of continental novelties to include a silver letter opener designed as a dagger with cross and ribbon designed hilt, stamped '800', a silver mounted lighter decorated with floral scrolls, stamped '800 Italy', and a silver double stamp holder designed as a textured envelope, with indistinct continental mark. Gross weight excluding the lighter 63.6 grams, length of owl bookmark 9.3 cm.

Condition Report
In varied state, however all the items in the lot display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Heavier tarnishing to some areas, mainly the owl. More wear to edges, tips and corners. Slight loss of surface detail to some of the decoration. Some slight surface dints. The hinged lid of the lighter is rising in the closed position. The hallmarks to the owl are clear and legible.
