Lot 675

Lot Description

A Dutch pair of miniature chairs, designed with high backs and weaved seats, with the Dutch standard sword mark. Together with one further miniature silver chair with cushion style back and seat, hallmarked B. Muller & Son (Berthold Muller), probably Chester import. Height of Dutch chairs 4.5 cm, combined weight of all chairs 34.4 grams.

Postage: Auction Default

Weight: No

Total lot weight: No

The overall condition of the chairs appears to be okay, they all display some general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.  There is some slight loss of surface detail to the decoration on the Muller chair and the very top of the chair has folded over slightly.  The hallmarks are just legible, date letter is likely 1910.  On the Dutch chairs, there are further indistinct marks to the underside of each.
