Lot Description

A 1930's silver mounted child's rattle with mother of pearl mouthpiece, hallmarked Crisford & Norris Ltd., Birmingham 1936. Together with a selection of miscellaneous items to include a pair of knife rests, a filigree coin purse, a Dupont ballpoint pen, a further pen part, a hallmarked silver salt spoon and a comb case with comb. (7).

In varied state, however all the items in the lot display general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use.  Heavier tarnishing to some of the pieces, mainly the rattle, coin purse and comb case.  The silver sections of the rattle do display considerable damage, dints, creases and holes in the metal, also the rattle attachments are in very poor condition and two are missing completely.  Some small breaks in the metal of the filigree purse.  Other items appear in fair condition.
