Lot Description

A selection of silver sewing and smoking accessories, to include an Edwardian needle case with images of early planes, an Edwardian vesta, a late Victorian floral embossed box, together with a cigar piercer. Needle case hallmarked William Vale & Sons, import Birmingham 1909. Lengths 2 15/16 to 1 13/16 inches (7.5 to 4.6 cm). Weight 2.11 ozt (65.9 grams).

Good to fair overall condition with scratches, dents and tarnish in keeping with age and use. Needle case has some shallow dents. Maker's mark worn to vesta. Large, noticeable, shallow dents, wear to lid. Box has small loss to lid. Small dents and slight, small wear holes.
