Lot Description

A late Victorian silver double cigar case, of rectangular outline, the dual compartment case with scrolling foliate engraving and cartouche with personal inscription. Hallmarked Charles Edward Soloman, Birmingham 1896. Length 5 1/8 inches (13 cm). Weight 2.62 ozt (81.8 grams).

Good overall condition with scratches, very small dents and tarnish in keeping with age and use. Personal engraving reads "From S.A.M., To S.M., 1900". Very minor discolouration to gilt interior. Closes securely.
