A Victorian silver ovoid shape box and cover, with a floral and foliate scroll embossed band in between lobed decoration, the whole with figurative finial and suspended from a chain. Box hallmarked Birmingham 1889, maker's mark indistinct. Height including finial measures 5 cm, gross weight 15.5 grams.

Condition Report
The box displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some slight surface dints and bumps. Maker's mark appears totally obscured, however the other hallmarks are clear and legible. The suspension chain appears unmarked.
