An early twentieth century silver trinket box, the oblong shaped form with gadrooned rim and silver-gilt interior. Hallmarked Walker & Hall, further marks distorted. Length measuring 4 inches (10 cm), weight 5 ozt (155 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.
Minor dints and bumps, also dimpling to the base. Remnants of old polish. The hallmarks almost completely rubbed away, lion passant and 'f' visible to the lid, the body with maker's mark only visible.
