Lot Description

An Edwardian silver trinket box, the square form with concave edge, central circular panel embossed with a stylised depiction of five putti, standing on four scrolling feet and opening to reveal a silver-gilt and velvet lined interior. Hallmarked W J Myatt & Co, Birmingham 1909. Height measuring 2 1/4 inches (5.5 cm).

Some rubbing to the definition of the cherub embossing. Minor dints and bumps. Surface tears to the green leather underside. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
