Lot Description
An early twentieth century silver mounted glass scent bottle of cylindrical form, the lid with reverse carved intaglio of a three-branch olive wreath and mother of pearl background, above a plain silver hinged lid with date inscription. Hallmarked London 1912, maker's mark '?B'. Height 6.75 cm.

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with age and use. There are some very small dents to the upper lid. The hinge works well but the glass stopped inside is very stiff. The hallmarks are clear and legible. The Maker's mark is partly obscured. There are chips to the bottom of the glass bottle and there are residue marks to the exterior and interior. Glass stopper fixed in position.
