A William IV silver snuff box, the oblong form with engine turned decoration within engraved and plain borders to the floral rim, central circular initial engraved cartouche and opening to reveal a silver-gilt interior with presentation inscription. Hallmarked Edward Edwards II, London 1834. Length measuring 8.7 cm, weight 149 grams.

In good overall condition, displaying light general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Wear to the gilding on areas of contact. The hallmarks are clear and legible. maker's mark partly worn.
