A George III silver-gilt vinaigrette of slim oblong form with vermicular engraving opening to reveal a hinged grille with central floral pierced circular panel. Hallmarked 1804 with the maker's mark WE. Length measuring 5 cm, weight 31.8 grams.

Condition Report
The lot displays general wear, scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Wear to the gilding. Rubbing to the engraved decoration with loss of definition. Significant wear, tears/holes to the tubes which construct the hinge. Wear to the hallmarks but clearly legible. A few dints around the edge and front of the case.
