A George III silver vinaigrette, the oblong body with stylised leaf decoration within pricked borders, opening to reveal a silver-gilt interior with florally pierced grille. Hallmarked Samuel Pemberton, Birmingham 1809. Length measuring 2.8 cm, weight 9.8 grams.

Condition Report
In good overall condition. The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The gilding to the interior is very bright, although in keeping with the condition of the exterior it has perhaps been re-gilded. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
