A Dutch, possibly late eighteenth century, white metal vinaigrette, the waisted oval body, lid and base, with engraved and chased scrolling shell and floral motif, with stylised floral pierced grill and gilt interior. Length 1 1/2 inches (3.8 cm). Weight 0.84 ozt (26.4 grams).

Good overall condition with scratches, minor dents and tarnish in keeping with age and use. Very minor, shallow dent to one side of the body. Varying discolouration. Significant discolouration to inside of main body.
