Lot Description

A late Victorian pair of silver bud vases, modelled as classic urns with wheat-ear swags and borders on filled bases. Hallmarked Fenton Brothers Ltd, Sheffield 1898. Height measuring 5 1/4 inches (13.5 cm).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Numerous dents visible across the bodies. Some rubbing to to the decoration with loss of definition visible. Both with weighted bases, no felt to cover the underside of the bases present. Hallmarks a little worn but legible, maker's marks noticeably rubbed.
