A late Victorian silver enamel vesta box, of rectangular form with hinged lid and enamel panel of jockeys riding through a meadow. Hallmarked George Heath, London, 1887. Length 2 1/8 inches (5.4 cm). Weight 0.97 ozt (30.4 grams).

Condition Report
Good to fair overall condition with scratches, dents and tarnish in keeping with age and use. There is a small area of repair to the enamel in the clouds. The enamel has deep surface scratches and two small chips to either side of the top of the panel. The lid does not quite close tightly. Wear to the gilt interior. Shallow dents to the reverse.
