A selection of four silver vesta cases, to include a Victorian oblong shaped scroll engraved vesta with initialled central cartouche, hallmarked Hilliard & Thomason, Chester 1898, three scroll engraved vestas, two with vacant cartouche and one with initial engraving, hallmarked George Randle 1920 and John Rose 1906, both Birmingham, and George Unite & Sons, Chester 1902. Together with a base metal vesta modelled as a pig. Weight of four silver vesta cases 4.1 ozt (116.35 grams). (5).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with age and use. Two hinges and lids are in good working order, two are slightly off centre and do not close flush. All have dents to the corners. The hallmarks are all legible but some are rubbed. The hinged pig head is off centre and does not close fully, there is a nick to the underside of the head, the tail is loose.
