An early 20th century continental enamel and gem-set brooch. The oval-shape hand painted enamel panel, depicting Cupid and Psyche, within a turquoise and split pearl scroll surround. Length 4cms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair to good. Minor surface wear and light scratches in keeping with general wear. Soft solder repairs to two of the side panels, possible replacement brooch fitting, with minor discolouration to the reverse. Glass panel to the reverse with remnants from a sticker. Enamel panel in good condition with minor abrasion and nibbles. Possible replacement turquoise and split pearls. Turquoise and split pearls fairly well matched. Turquoise pale blue, good to fair condition, some with minor abrasion, some with small chips. Split pearls creamy colour, rose, greenish and bluish overtones.
