A late 19th century gold ruby and split pearl bangle. The circular-shape ruby star, within a split pearl crescent surround, to the similarly-set sides and openwork half-bangle. Inner diameter 5.4cms. Weight 13gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. There are scratches and areas of tarnishing to the bangle in keeping with overall wear. The rubies are well matched, there are typical inclusions visible with magnification. There is a chip to the central ruby. The split pearls slightly vary in colour, there are cracks to some of the split pearls, some are possible replacements. Split pearls untested for natural origin. The bangle opens and closes securely.
