A late 19th century gold cats-eye chrysoberyl and diamond cluster ring. The oval greenish yellow cats-eye chrysoberyl cabochon, within an old-cut diamond surround, to the bifurcated shoulders and plain band. Chrysoberyl weight 4.88cts. Estimated total weight 1.10cts, H-J colour, SI clarity. Weight 4.7gms.

Overall condition good. There are slight scratches to the ring in keeping with overall wear. The chrysoberyl is in good condition, there are typical inclusions visible with magnification. The chryoberyl appears to be a possible replacement. The diamonds are bright, with small inclusions visible with magnification. Some settings may need to be secured. Ring size L1/2.
