Lot Description
A carved jade brooch. The carved oval-shape mottled lilac and white jadeite panel, carved to depict a chinese mythical creature, to the vari-shape green jadeite cabochon terminals. Accompanied by report no 07701, dated 1st May 2013, from The Gem and Pearl Laboratory, stating that that the gemstones are jadeite jade, with no evidence of treatment. Length 4cms. Weight 7gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. There are scratches to the brooch in keeping with slight wear. There are areas of abrasion to some of the jadeite panels. The green and lilac jadeite have a mottled saturation of colour. Please see the Important Notice for Purchasers in our catalogue and online for coloured gemstones. The back fitting is secure.
