A late Victorian 15ct gold ruby and diamond crescent brooch, circa 1880. Designed as a seed pearl, within a graduated oval-shape ruby and single-cut diamond crescent, to the knife-edge bar with oval-shape ruby terminals. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct. Length 4.6cms. Weight 6.8gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Replacement clasp. Seed pearl untested for natural origin. The diamonds appear bright and well matched. The rubies are a well matched deep purplish red hue. Minor abrasion.
