Lot Description
An early 20th century 18ct gold alexandrite and diamond dress ring. The three oval-shape alexandrite, with old-cut diamond double spacers, to the scrolling gallery and plain band. Accompanied by report no 08444, dated 3rd September 2013, from The Gem and Pearl Laboratory, stating that the three gemstones are natural alexandrite chrysoberyls. Estimated total diamond weight 0.15ct. Weight 3.6gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair. There are scratches to the ring in keeping with the age of the ring. One of the outer alexandrite is seriously chipped, there are surface reaching fractures to the other two, they have typical inclusions visible with the unaided eye. They have a clearly visible colour change in tungsten and daylight. The diamonds are bright, there are inclusions visible with magnification. Stamped 18 to inner band.
