R.E.', corresponding miniatures, Kings Police Medal, George VI, For Distinguished Service, named to 'W. H. Mardon. Fire Force Comm. Middlesbrough', National Fire Brigades Association Long Service Medal, bronze, Ten Years clasp named to '9890 W. H. Mardon', British Fire Services Association Medal, silver, named to 'Chief Officer W.H. Mardon. 1936.', The Society for the Protection of Life From Fire, Duty and Honour, converted to a brooch, named to 'Walter H. Mardon, Middlesbrough. 29-4-38'. Together with three family associated medals, Fire Brigade Long Service Medal named to 'Div. Offr. Herbert J.
