A late 19th century gold gem-set brooch. Of openwork design, the circular-shape brown zircon, to the graduated circular-shape peridot and sapphire sides, within a scrolling surround. Length 4.3cms. Weight 4.8gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Pin base metal, possible replacement. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue and on our website for Coloured Gemstones. The zircon is a medium slightly orangey brown hue. Large rust stain inclusion. One of the peridot is significantly more saturated and vibrant than the other. The sapphires are a pale, slightly violetish blue hue. Peridot show moderate abrasion.
